Beer: Savagewood Brewing Company
After years of brewing at home, Darrel Brown established Savagewood Brewing Company in 2016. Located in the heart of Scripps Ranch, Savagewood is easy to get to from pretty much anywhere in San Diego.
They offer a wide range of beers that’s sure to satisfy almost any taste. From strong IPAs to smooth lagers, you’ll be finding your new favorite beer in no time. It’s also a great place to grab a bite. Try Angry Pete’s Pizza, SMACK’N Guamanian BBQ, or Rombombburger, it’s guaranteed to be a flavor overload!
Any brewery that boasts their own pack, “Dogs of Savagewood”, is a must visit for any beer and dog lover. Their dog friendly tasting room offers a chill vibe, cool dogs, and often features Moodkillaz DJs dropping fresh hits. In 2020, Fetch the Sun collaborated with Savagewood to develop a Fetch the Sun beer; an American wheat beer with lemon and lime.
