Manzanita Campground in Sedona Arizona
The campground has toilets and there is drinking water available; although it is always recommended that you bring bottled water. Each campsite comes with a picnic table, cooking grills and a firepit. One of the coolest things about this site is that there are literally fishing and swimming holes right next to the campground with easy access in and out. And the creek is regularly stocked with trout.
Located about 11-miles from the Sedona city center, Manzanita sits nestled in between Route 89A and Oak Creek. The location of this campground is close to some of the most beautiful/picturesque hiking in the world and it right across the road from the Sterling Pass Trailhead (home of the Vultee Arch). Another must-see destination, Slide Rock, is located less than a mile north of Manzanita.

Planning A Trip
Manzanita has 19 spots available for 1 to 7-day rentals; however, they fill up quickly. Their online campsite reservation system makes booking easy. Since it fills up fast reservations should be made a month or two in advance and even longer during peak periods. Camping there is tent and/or small sleep-in vehicle only. One vehicle is allowed per campsite and due to the small size, RVs, motor homes, and trailers are prohibited. While it is a dog-friendly campground, Manzanita requires that all pets must be kept on a leash or restrained.
